Transcend Space
& Time
(2022)

Drift away! Beyond the void's obsidian veil,
Where light is swallowed whole, where stars forever pale.
Let your essence slip from the mortal coil’s bind,
And wander through the shadowed realms, where time cannot find.
What worlds have you tasted, what whispers of the abyss?
Do they speak of forgotten fires or a lover’s venomous kiss?
In the twilight of your fiftieth year, will your flame still burn bright?
Or be quenched by the cruel hands of fate, swallowed by the night?
Shall I linger here, feeding your dying embers,
Or fan them into the wild flame that no god remembers?
In that far-off realm, where silence reigns and shadows entwine,
Will you recall our stolen moments in the void’s endless line?
We drink from the chalice of silence, while vanity fades,
Lost in fleeting echoes that time unmade.
Do you recall, as I do, those bitter sips of eternity’s embrace,
Where solitude held us in its eternal grace?
Will the serpent, coiled in the caverns of shadow,
Rise once more to dance, to bite, to follow?
Or has it slumbered too long in the depths of the unseen,
Banished from the light of the rebel spirit we once deemed clean?
The guiding star, now shackled and torn,
Was it nailed to the cross of a world forlorn?
Does it still wander, defiant and free,
Or lost in the fog of a sightless sea?
Yet, in my eyes, you remain untouched by the years,
Your youth an illusion, defying time’s tears.
If I fall, will you descend with me, from heaven to dust,
And rise once more in the ashes of our immortal trust?
From celestial heights to the mundane mire,
Let us savor the sweetness of each fleeting fire.
Before oblivion’s maw consumes the hour,
Let us taste the now, in the grip of darkness’ devouring power.
